Helmut C. Calabrese

Helmut passion for music continued to have growth beginning composition studies in the mid-seventies at the Philadelphia Musical Academy with Richard Everill. Helmut continues his music composition studies at the University of the Arts graduating with a Bachelor of Music in 1980.
By the end of 1982, Helmut earns a Master of Arts in linguistic studies from West Chester University. The early eighties finds Helmut relocating to Seaside Heights, NJ and a few years later began PhD studies at New York University graduating in 1996.
What I Teach
The composition curriculum will focus on a variety of areas which the student can choose from depending on his interests. The following are the areas from which to create the individualized instructional composition program:
