I'm a 21-year-old Toronto-based drummer currently attending a Bachelor's degree in Jazz Studies at The Juilliard School in Manhattan, New York. Although I'm mostly self-taught, some of my mentors for composition studies include vibraphonist and pianist Mark Sherman and trumpeter Michael P. Mossman. Through these great learning opportunities, I've learned ways of creating musical ideas and how to piece them together in the most musically effective and efficient manner. The most valuable thing I learned is how much you can create with one simple idea if you have the tools to bring it to life in your composition.

What I Teach

My online lessons will consist of jazz composition, arranging, and improvisation methods for all instruments. I'll also be going over more versatile concepts that will help you apply the tools I teach to any other style of music.
